week3_#2

Nobel gases dont form any chemical bonds, because nobel gases dont need any.An element only forms a chemical bond when the electrons for an atom is either to much or not enough. The elements build up into an atom and every atom has an atomic number and the atomic number determians how much protons and electorns are in the element. When thoughs electrons are in an atom they can have a surtian amount of shells in the 3 levels. You can have 2 in the first,8 in the second and 2 in the third. You have an element with more electrons and one with less.Which ever element has the least must transfer some of its electrons to the other element, unless the element with the least has one more electron left then another element is added. Then all 3 elements share there electrons, then everyone wins!
